A little while back, someone posted some information on a private railroad car numbered 100. It had some relationship to the Gould family. On this post, was a wonderful site all about 100 and the cars that had come before it. I ran into this railroad car sitting in a rail yard up in Minerva, Ohio a few years back and photographed it. Now I'm putting together a web site, in which I have included this car. Like a fool, I failed to book mark the site and I could really use the information. Could whoever posted this link, do so again. I have now wasted hours on the net looking for it under every title I can think of and still no luck.

Might you be referring to the former Nevada Northern Railway Guggenheim private car No. 100? ItÂ’s now privately owned and was at Minerva as late as last year (likely it's still there). You can find the information that IÂ’ve compiled at the top passenger roster page at my web site. The specific URL's are:

This car might have been named “Nirvana” by Solomon Guggenheim when he was President of the NNRy. However, primary documentation is still lacking on that subject.

Keith, thank you, thank you, thank you. That's exactly the car I was looking for. I'll get into my website tonight when my husband can help me with the computer and make all the needed corrections. Trying to find this info last night was like looking for the proverbial needle in the haystack. Haven't been to Minerva in a while, I must get back up there and see what's changed.
