Good Morning! As part of the cosmetic restoration of the RMNE's FL-9 (New Haven 2019) we are looking to have the small plastic ID tags found in the cab reproduced. These include HEP controls, as well as engine controls. Has anyone had this done before and if so, where did you have them produced? Unfortunately, they are of varying sizes with specific fonts. I attempted a Google search and found a few companies but was hoping for a recommendation/advice. Thanks! |

I have a similar situation with a unit I'm working on. When I was involved in building custom automated machinery, years ago, we used Jory Engravers in Rutherford, NJ for that kind of thing. They did lots of plates for Allen-Bradley pushbuttons and pilot lights, and many plastic plates for other control panels. Give them a try at 201-939-1546. Just looked on line, they are still there- EDM |

Try PowerRail Distribution, in Duryea Pennsylvania. They build many replacement control stand components. I talked with them today and they confirmed that they can produce identification tags: http://www.epowerrail.com/ PC |

I've been using these folks; MyEngravedSign.com for modern electrical control panel signage. Lots of material choices and a little "design" utility to preview the sign. Cheers, Kevin. |
