Post subject:	NYNH&H Hyde Park?
Need some assistance please. The solid brass letters on the white board: the story goes that the lady I got them from, her grandfather worked at the old NYNH&H Hyde Park station and that's were the letters came from. Yes, no, ? We know they were off a NYNH&H station, for giggles I'd love to find a picture. Or were they generic to that RR? The board is not original, just what he mounted them to, or so the story goes. RL1.9L.jpg A better black and white view from trackside, maybe the basis for the first image: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... stcard.JPG Finally, at the top of this page, a streetside view: http://www.iknowarailroad.net/photoalbum/page279.htm The initials over the two arched entrances are not quite legible, but the ampersand is distinctive enough to conclude that your initials came from one or both of these sets. The station is still in use by the MBTA, but it is little more than a couple of platforms now.
