C&NW 1385 STEAM LOCOMOTIVE RESTORATION OPEN HOUSE ANNOUNCED
You are invited to the C&NW 1385 steam locomotive restoration open house, Saturday and Sunday, February 15-16, 2014, 11:00 a.m. through 5:00 pm. The open house is being held at SPEC Machine in Middleton, Wis., where the locomotive's running gear is presently undergoing restoration work. Members of the restoration team will be on hand to answer your questions and show off the work completed thus far toward getting Mid-Continent's most well-known locomotive operational once again. The open house is free to all.
This event coincides with Mid-Continent's Snow Train weekend, so be sure to plan a stop at the open house on your way to ride Snow Train!
SPEC Machine is only minutes away from the Madison area and approximately 45 minutes driving time from Mid-Continent Railway Museum.
