One of the first tangible and tasty bits of preparation for the Baltimore steam-in next year has hit the web. http://www.261.com/index.ihtml The 261 team is trying to raise $80K to get the big girl in Baldamo for the iron horse fest. Before anyone one follows this post with a litany of the negatives that have surrounded prior discussions about ANY big steam being at the fest, lets take a 5 second breather and appreciate that somewhere in the wilds of cheese land a few folks are starting to make an effort to go. I applaud their determination and their advanced planning! Rob Davis trains@robertjohndavis.com |
