Post subject:  261 to Baltimore fest next year

One of the first tangible and tasty bits of preparation for the Baltimore steam-in next year has hit the web.

The 261 team is trying to raise $80K to get the big girl in Baldamo for the iron horse fest.

Before anyone one follows this post with a litany of the negatives that have surrounded prior discussions about ANY big steam being at the fest, lets take a 5 second breather and appreciate that somewhere in the wilds of cheese land a few folks are starting to make an effort to go.

I applaud their determination and their advanced planning!

No grousing from me, Rob, except that 261 lives in Minneapolis, which is Land of Lakes...butter land, instead of cheese, no?

She may currently reside in the LOL, but she is from the Green Bay museum, so she definitely has a cheesehead pedigree.
