I'm trying to locate the original source of Morgan's quote(and I may not have the wording correct) And FAIK it may not have even been Morgan!

"The trouble with steam, its a people machine"

Anyone know...my friend google was not much help I found a couple of refs, but nothing definitive.

Don't bother. The "search" function of the DVD (not CD) is utterly useless in this context, as it searches for every use of every word, not a specific quote.

I tried just "trouble with steam" and came back with 1,441 pages.

When I feel better I'll dig through my anthologies of Morgan's writings ("Confessions of a Train-Watcher" and "The Mohawk that Refused to Abdicate").
