New Hope Valley RR in North Carolina is in the early stages of restoring steam locomotive Cliffside railroad 110 to operating condition. While 110 was stored at Stone Mountain, a private individual (with permission) removed the turret, throttle valve body and standpipe, and some other fittings for another use which never materialized. He has offered us the missing pieces of 110 in exchange for a Pyle National straight sided 14" steam locomotive headlight. If anybody knows of such available at reasonable cost, we're ready and willing to purchase it immediately. This will solve our most critical missing parts problem. dave |

Dave, Did you guys find the unique Batwing fire door that was on 110? Just curious. I could not believe the idiots that now operate Stone Mountain/Silver Dollar allowed someone to take parts off that locomotive. Then again, knowing the people in charge, I guess I do believe it...... Kevin |
