The Feather River Rail Society is holding its Spring Fundraising Drive. Funds received will benefit work at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum and the FRRS Archives.

We have several projects in progress this year, including:

- painting of Western Pacific SW1500 1503, the last switcher acquired by the WP
- restoration work on Central California Traction caboose 24
- mechanical and restoration work on WP F7A 917-D
- ongoing restoration of California Zephyr dining car "Silver Plate:
- return to operation of WP SW1 501, the first diesel on the WP
- placing a new security fence around the museum property
- ongoing work to return WP 0-6-0 165 to full operation
- ongoing work scanning and cataloging our extensive WP system archives, including photos, paperwork and films

Please help keep the WP alive! You can donate through PayPal online at: http://donate.WPLives.org

Your contributions make preservation possible.

Is there going to be an auction?

No auction, but we are considering a raffle for later in the summer to support WP 1503 painting. Prizes would include a change to do a Run A Locomotive session in the engine, which will not be used for RAL or regular caboose train service.
