Several years ago, there was a little Porter saddletanker (standard gauge) converted to a 2-4-0 that looked pretty good. I think it ran originally in Ohio, but ended up in Western PA. Where is it now? Is it still operable? Anyone have photos? ryarger@rypn.org |

Yes, it ran at the Laurel Highlands RR on former B&O and PRR trackage in the Scottsdale area. We Barris lists the engine as "for sale by Hal Harkness". Some images of the engine at LHRR can be found at the now-defunct line's "ghost website" at http://members.tripod.com/lh.rr/. Beware the annoying sound files. eledbetter@rypn.org |
