Steam freight and passenger trains on parallel tracks! Both double-headed! A decent view of the mechanism of an INSIDE CONNECTED locomotive, both crank axle and valve motion visible! (1:42) And the fireman on one of the engines, using his shovel to look for holes in the fire (2:40 or so)! And we have the audacity to claim we are the best country in the world when we have business and government managers who get the willies if you even just suggest an excursion! No parallel running, no vintage freight cars, maybe not even steam--and look what we get here! |
