Post subject:  Worthington feed water heater identification

I am still looking for information on Worthington feed water heaters. I finely found a picture of the engine I would like to model in 1 1/2" scale. Can someone tell me what size heater is installed on CNW 2530?

Thanks

Tim

Thats the BL type, its the cast "all in one" unit that you don't want to tackle in any small scale.

The prior version is the one that all the 1.5/1.6" scale guys use that David Moore built, its a few orders of magnatude easier to build that the BL type in the photo.

There was one BL type built as a scale replica, I don't know if it was functional or not, but it does exist up in Washington on a 2.5" scale 4-4-2 "Atlantic" that runs on a 12" gauge line. It can be seen in the 1991 video "Big LIttle Railways".
