I just noticed this announcement... http://www.trainmuseum.blogspot.com/201 ... t.html?m=1 I believe the North West Railroad Museum has made more progress than any other over the last 10 years or so... changing from the bad boy of their community with locomotives choked with weeds into the darling of the community, with nice clean campus, new restoration and storage buildings, and now apparently a steam program. There new curator of collections comes with his own steam loco... he is a wonderful mechanic, with a master's degree in anthropology... a nice mix of skills and academic knowledge and he is reportedly a hell of a welder... Congratulations Stathi, congratulations NWRR Museum... Randy |

So glad to hear this. That museum badly needed someone of his caliber. The mere idea that they might be running steam again is an amazing thing! |

Randy, Thanks for your kind words! I was very pleased to join the NWRM team, and their track record has had my attention for the last few years. I hope that I can help this institution continue their successes as we move forward! Best, Stathi ________________________ Efstathios I.
