The Texas State railroad has a opening for a full time steam locomotive engineer/trainee available. We are looking for an applicant that presently holds a 240 engineer card, experienced with the operation of steam and diesel locomotive. All applicants will start out as a fireman then work there way up to engineer, the length of time for qualification will depend on experience. We can offer competitive wage based on experience, railroad retirement, 401k and health insurance.
