The Texas State railroad has a opening for a full time steam locomotive engineer/trainee available. We are looking for an applicant that presently holds a 240 engineer card, experienced with the operation of steam and diesel locomotive. All applicants will start out as a fireman then work there way up to engineer, the length of time for qualification will depend on experience. Where was this ten years ago? I still had my FRA card and was ten years younger, but still retired. |
