Great News. I wonder if there are any current plans to have it run the length of the Welsh Highland with the restored carriages.

Welsh Highland Railway? Maybe if some kind of arrangement can be negotiated. From what I understand, Russell was rebuilt by and for the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, an entirely separate organization.

The Welsh Highland Heritage Railway has already operated at least one special train (hauled by Gertrude) over the Welsh Highland (F.R owned) line as far as Beddgelert. Whilst it may not be very often I don't think we'll have to wait long for the first Russell hauled photo charter over the W.H.R. Ray.
