Post subject:  Manual Car Movers

Recently a handle on a friends car mover broke while working on 6167, and I found this company which still makes them (and replacement handles) and thought I would post this here for reference.

I've probably got over 400 hopper cars that I moved with one of these car movers back in the 80s while working at a textile mill. While it wasn't the best it did work and was a whole lot better than any other alternative method of moving a car... but God help you if you went too far down the track and had to be moved back over the unloading pit... been there and done that too...
