There will be a second visitor from Sodor this year. Is this another live steam conversion or a push-replica? Has anyone seen the Reading 0-4-0c lately? ;-)

A HIT Entertainment rep told me just last week they have contracted Strasburg to build a Percy replica. There is only one being built though and will not make the trip to every Day Out With Thomas event with one of the 6 (or is it 7 now) replica Thomas's. Only a few. Sorry, but Percy will need a little help to make him move. ;)

If you are like me, the only trains you saw on TV were on
Warner Brothers or MGM.

So, if you, like me, were wondering what Percy looks like:

The camelback was moved again to behind the backshop(there 2 weeks ago)
I would think percy will be nothing more than sheet metal on a set of new drivers

I took my wife's nephew to ride behind the replica Thomas several years ago when he was a little kid. I was impressed with how the event was run, they have it down to a science. It was pretty cool seeing a full-size Thomas, I have to admit.

My nephew (a different one, this one was my Brother's son) was just shy of 2 years old when he came to live with my parents for a short while as both his parents were deployed with the USAF. I was living there as well while getting my AA degree. In the afternoons if I was around, Jackson would always know when it was time for Thomas on TV, and would come up to me and ask, "Choo choo?"
We'd plop down in Dad's chair, break out some goldfish crackers (which I really was never a big fan of but only ate them because he liked them so much) and would watch Thomas for 30 minutes. He's in his 20s now and is newly-minted Army LT (did the same thing his nutty Uncle did), and I recently asked if he recalled that. I don't think he does, but they're great memories for me.

As of 8/9/14, the only progress on the conversion of the body was the removal of the wood parts from the cab roof. It was outdoors, East of the shops.
