Nice update on Mid-Continents website on the "rescue" of the original tender from C&NW ten-wheeler #1385. The story can be read at: http://www.midcontinent.org/news/news.html midlandblb@cs.com |

With Mid-Continent's restoration of #1385's original tender, now they have an extra R-1 tender, and coincidently there is a C&NW R-1 that is missing it's correct tender. If #175 up in Quincy, MI were to ever be restored, it could now be done with a correct tender. Allan ddg14@msn.com |

Last I knew she was in pretty sad shape, and there were rumors that she was missing parts. Anyone have any recent photos of her? Anyone know of any plans for her future? Allan ddg14@msn.com |
