Hi, I am close to publishing Civil Engineering for Outdoor Railroads Volume 3 for the Live Steamers. It covers tunnels and trestles (not bridges in general). I am looking for a couple of photos for use as the front or front and back covers. Acknowledgement of the photographer will be in the book. If you have photo(s) of a tunnel portal (maybe Mud Tunnel on the C&TS/D&RGW with its wood supports) and/or some of the wood trestles of the Rio Grand Southern (maybe around Ophir) and would be willing to give permission for me to use them, please let me know. On the cover Civil Engineering for Outdoor Railroads Volume 2 I used a PRR Steel bridge on a river near where it emptied into the Chesapeake Bay, I thought I'd use some NG items. I could be talked into something SG. Thanks. Doug vV |
