With so many stories and thousands of hours of footage, it is difficult to condense into a reasonable running time. With so much material we're looking at future installments and follow-ups in a continuation of Listen for the Whistle as a multimedia project featuring the railroad historical society and its work with the 765.
Listen for the Whistle: The Documentary is available on DVD and Blu-Ray and produced in part by a grant from the Dailey Foundation. Here are a few excerpts:

We also produced a CD "soundtrack," if you will, featuring an on-board recording of the 765's climb over Horseshoe Curve in 2012, and a "suite" of sounds captured over recent years and edited them together to recreate a rainy night in a railroad town sometime near the end of the steam era.
