Magid Heater Beater cotton gauntlet gloves. Much better at reducing heat transfer than leather garden gloves, but a little more expensive. http://www.magidglove.com/assets/item/large/198KGT_198JGT_HERO1.jpg |

If you're in the San Francisco Bay area, the place I go to for Ben Davis work clothes is Workingman's Emporium at 260 N. First in San Jose. They also carry Carhartt and several other brands, including Roundhouse bib overalls, in both denim and hickory stripe. They're on the web at "workingmans.com" and they will fill mail orders. They carry the widest range of sizes I've every seen--even if you're as big as an NFL lineman, the Emporium can probably fit you. Another feature is that you can go there by rail--the VTA light rail system has stops only a couple of blocks away. |
