The Cozy Restaurant in Thurmont, MD, has closed after being in business for over eight decades. Its assets will be auctioned this coming Monday (10/13) and you'll find the details here:

http://www.antiquetoyworld.com/auctions ... ge-oct-13/

Excerpt: "The largest item in the Cozy Village collection is an actual B & O Railroad caboose whose interior was accessible through a restaurant doorway. Made around 1925, it is a Model I-5, from the last class of wood-bodied cabooses produced in America."

If you scroll down about two-thirds of the page you'll find a picture of it. Roger Kirkpatrick's listing of cabooses shows this one as B&O C2192.

Sorry to see the Cozy close. I had the chance to visit the place some years ago, and it was just fun, and had good food, too.
