A note on FLIMSIES about a museum in Grand Junction, Colorado led to an internet search and decrepit Uintah wood caboose number 3. Apparently restored by the Rio Grande Chapter of NRHS, the caboose is at some museum with other equipment and a railroad depot. Can't find much firm info. Can anyone elaborate?

Thanks.

Les

Les - The equipment is part of the Rio Grande Chapter of the NRHS. The equipment is displayed at the Cross Orchards Living History Farm in GJ. Follow this link for more info:

I assisted with the moving of the body of this caboose way back in the late 1980's, prior to restoration. They are small group, but manage to get a lot done.
