I admit I'm a little bit biased, but I think the latest Union Pacific commercials are the best yet: http://youtu.be/d0tTt0KlE00?list=PLh3l5IvpX5hYeqMk_6t0JCPpsaZIZneAa

It is a nice ad, showing how a big corporation can afford excellent production and imagery. I would offer that NS's "What your function?" is a bit snappier and more dynamic, and CSX's "Carrying 100 tons of freight on a gallon of fuel", is a nicer piece of copy. That being said, the high speed train, older cars and "hometown" houses, coupled to the flag, strikes a nice patriotic chord.

The background music adds a lot to all three of the ads. Simple, not overbearing; I had the impression that the composer was greatly influenced by Arron Copland. Very nicely done, UP!

I have to agree, that the most recent UP commercials are very tasteful and have a certain small town, community oriented feel to them. I also have to believe that the big american flag appeals to many people..."Carrying a Nations Pride".

Here are a few others, just for comparison...
