Well, it took over $12,000 and 3000 man hours, not to mention the half-million dollar capital campaign to build the covered shelter, but we moved the first piece of narrow gauge equipment into place today... still have to install the grab irons and truss rods, and if anyone has a spare 3/4 Janey coupler, brake shaft, and brake wheel, we would be grateful!

An instructive set of photos for those who think a car is "too far gone". Not applicable to every candidate of course, but certainly proof that some cars are worth it.

Now THAT is a restoration!

I don't think the OR&W cars Herman Paine had at Jerusalem, OH had trucks with them, or they might be a good bet. None of the available stuff from EBT had the right couplers, correct?.

Wish someone could get OR&W business car #5 off the Paine farm. At last count, the tarp had come off partway and no one was around the farm to ask about volunteering to put it back. If the Parry Museum did scrap the two cars they had, they might have kept some of the metal.

Just wait until you see what the bad cars looked like before they got them restored. These guys can clone a car from a splinter.
