What progress has been made in returning SR 2-8-0 #722 to operation at the GSMRR? Any information would be appreciated.

At this point, all the appliances have been removed, as well as the cab and flues. The valve gear, main rods, and pistions/rods have been removed, and the boiler has been separated from the frame. A new smokebox will need to be fabricated, as well as some other repairs to the boiler before it is set back on the frame. All the tubes and flues have also been removed.
