Kelly, Fantastic work. Thank you for the update and pictures. Makes sense to use the piston rod to index the crosshead. The relief valve is very nice - do you also make muffled types? |

I'm a bit fuzzy on 31, but isn't that a contract project for some group in the northwest? |

31 is Strasburg's first steam locomotive, a CN 0-6-0 that they have had since the late 1950s. I believe there is also a 37 on the property, a 2-8-2T which is/was a contract job. I'm not sure who the owner is, though. |

But since when did 31 pick up a rear pony truck, or is that wheel under the firebox just there to move the boiler around? |

To add to what "daylight" posted, that 4-wheel lead truck looks pretty unortodox too! |

If the certain narrow gauge engine is the one I believe it is, it's actually a 2-6-0. The owner of said engine has only one 4-4-0 and I watch it run by my job everyday. |

Consider the fact that the railroad may be operating under the jurisdiction of a non-disclosure agreement, Mark. If they want to (or can) share information regarding any other locomotive being worked on, I'm sure we'll hear about it. |
