Post subject:  Pacific Electric Arrowhead Water Cars

Hi folks,

I'm looking for some information on Pacific Electric Arrowhead Water Cars to build and O scale model. This posting provides a lot of good information.

http://forums.mylargescale.com/21-rolli ... r-car.html

But does anyone know if any of these were preserved?

As was the base flatcar wood or steel? I can't tell from the pictures and the drawings don't say.

I'm hoping to do an easy kit bash and I want to know if I should start with a Labelle flatcar kit or a wiseman Model Services 41 foot flatcar.

Thanks,

Charles

Hi,

None made it to preservation.

There has been some coverage in some of the PE books/booklets that have been printed. Might have been covered in a second printing or re-print with additional information. I think I have seen a PE diagram book drawing reproduced.

I might have a chance to check my library.
