Sorry folks, but I'm in a bit of a pinch here. Anyone here that lives or lived in the Richmond, VA area, could you messaage me?

Thank you ever so much.

Joshua

I'm about two hours away from Richmond near the D.C. Area. Why are you asking about people from the area?

Hi Joshua,

While I no longer live in Richmond, I did live there in the 1990s. Things you might be interested in, depending on how far you want to travel:
1. Old Dominion Chapter, NRHS-they have the small museum in downtown Richmond, a collection of equipment out at Hallsboro Yard (including an operable 0-6-0T), and, AFAIK, used to run seasonal excursions on the Buckingham Branch out in Dillwyn, VA;
2. Crewe, VA-N&W themed display in this railroad town, including a non-N&W 2-8-0;
3. Victoria, VA-Virginian Railway displays (I used to enjoy poking around this town).

I could keep on babbling, but I might be missing the gist of what you are specifically interested in. If you'd like, PM me and I can hear specifically what you're interested in, and/or share some other ideas.
