Hello all,
Attached is an illustration of a Pullman pedestal gas lamp which, after considerable research, I have come to think was most likely the type fitted to the Australian-built Pullman sleeper AL1040, which I've been working on since 2002.
Just wondering if anyone knows of any lamps of this style extant in any American museum cars or, dare I dream, lying about looking for a new home?
If nothing else, it would be of great help if someone has one which they can photograph and give details of the type of metal they were constructed from and what colour they were.
