Research item moved from another thread.

Now the question appears to be whether the engine is still in existence in Edmonton. I checked on the internet for the Fort Edmonton Park operation, but the train operation there uses a Baldwin 2-6-2 and there is nothing about an 0-4-0T, even as a display.

This is of course, where I got my information on the Gulf Power Company #2. Note that in the notes section of this entry, someone back in 2005 asked if anyone had ever seen this locomotive there and to say so if they had. No reply! Which makes me wonder if it is still there, or if it was EVER there.

Gulf Power No.2 is presently stored at the residence of a private owner in Canada. Per an email reply: "The locomotive is totally complete with an excellent 200 PSI boiler & has 36 " drivers . All appliances & brass fittings have been removed and are in safe storage ."

Thanks for digging into this. Great to hear that the "little engine that could" is still around.

Are you able to give us a rough location so we can update steamlocomotive.info?
