Interesting photos. I was hoping one would show a NYC Hudson stored as a backup boiler, but apparently, no such luck. Ah...you did post them all didn't you?

I can't say how glad I am to see that others, including the potential redevelopers, see grace and beauty in industrial architecture. I can recall how I was sort of laughed at for taking an interest in such things when I was a teenager 40 years ago in Wheeling, W.Va.

Of course, we've lost so much since then, much of it irreplaceable, and on top of that, in places changed out for other structures that may not last as long or age as well, and certainly don't look as good.

That's where it's been replaced at all--in Wheeling, there are places where there are now just weeds.
