Trying to restore a severely damaged tender back-up light. Does anyone has a technical diagram for a Sunbeam "can" light, no number boards.
Are reflectors available for these critters?

Once you find a drawing or someone loans you one to use as a pattern, look for a company that does metal spinning to make you new reflectors.

I had sent copies of a Sunbeam headlight booklet to someone a few years back-was that you or should I see if I can find my booklet and send it? I don't recall what all it contained offhand.

Best wishes with your project,

Susan, yes you sent that book to me and I still have it. What I am looking for is a specific cut-away illustration, not provided in the book.

Okay, this time with pictures. 470's tender back up Sunbeam light, in much worse shape today than depicted here, but still restorable. The iron ring around the glass perimeter has been shattered with a brick or hammer. We still have the hinges portion and can use that as a model for a new piece cast in iron. The handle to close the headlight is missing as well. The door on the side is missing. While I'm certain all these things were destroyed or stolen for good reasons, it makes restoration that much more difficult.

I need a good photo of the missing access door and the headlight closure handle, measurements would be welcomed, too. The reflector was a thirteen inch piece, long gone, as you might guess. Any help is welcomed. Oh, the little brass plate is missing as well.
