Proposal to relabel some roads in Colorado and New Mexico between Chama and Durango: http://www.durangoherald.com/article/20 ... 150419722/ I can't help but wonder if it would have been better to have preserved that other hundred miles of track. |

oh its relabel some roads, not building some, as identification to help guide them road warriors around, today its a tourist trap than moving freight on the lines, that where we're at. mmkay. |

It is too bad that the section of line was not saved in 1970. However, the D&S and the C&T were really the only areas where money could be made as a railroad. It would have been nice for signage to show the connection from Dulce to Gato. I was never able to get coordinated enough to make sure I had gas and sure enough of the dirt for that section.
