| Post subject: | Midwest Railway Preservation Society Open House May 9 |
On Saturday May 9 the Midwest Railway Preservation Society is having an Open House at our roundhouse at 2800 W. 3rd St. in Cleveland. The hours are from Noon until 4PM, and we are asking for a $5.00 donation. That night we are having a Night Photo Shoot from 8PM until 11 PM with professional lighting provided. We would like a $20.00 donation for that event and that will help cover the cost of renting the lights. There is a good possibility that the 2100 will be on the propety by then although it may not be unloaded yet. We also expect to move two ex-MARC E inits which have been sitting at the South end of the CSX yard to this event. We planned this Open House several months ago before any travel arrangements had been made for 2100 and the event will happen even if 2100 does not make it to the roundhouse in time. |
