Looking for 16 lb. rail, a source for new would be great, but a stash of serviceable rail is good also. I know this is small for most, but for are 100 year old 1/3 scale engines this size is what are RR was built with. The closer to California the better. Thank You for any leads. I know it's larger than you're looking for, but there is a quantity of used 20-lb rail currently offered for sale on DiscoverLiveSteam.com. The seller says the rail is located in Stockton, CA. http://discoverlivesteam.com/discoverforsale/forsale/1_peters/index.htm -Philip Marshall |

I have seen new small rail at the A&K yard in Stockton,CA some years back. I don't know the size but they said it was either Chinese or Korean. You might give them a call. CCdW |

Harmer Steel in Portland, OR handles this stuff all the time, they'll do a great job. Call them at (503) 286-3691 and talk to Tom or pretty much anyone in sales. You can tell them I referred you, but they'll treat you kindly even if you don't. http://harmersteel.com/ Edit - They do have an office in Chowchilla, but Portland is the HQ, and probably the best place to start. |
