Folks-

The Stewartstown Railroad will begin running big train operations this weekend, starting Saturday, May 9, 2015.

Initially using a PRR cabin car ( Caboose ), and later in the year, one of our Reading coaches.

Hope to see you there!

Looking forward to my first ride on the Stewartstown. I stopped by the station on a recent visit to York just to see the railroad in person and must say it's oozing with charm (how many lbs per yard does that rail weigh anyhow?). With operations resuming, makes me wonder if there is any future intention of coordinating schedules with Steam Into History to allow passengers to change trains at New Freedom.
