Post subject:  Pine Creek Railroad Members, Past and Present

The Pine Creek Railroad and the NJ Museum of Transportation, Inc, have
served as a wonderful starting point for many in the railroad industry and
in the rail preservation movement. The purpose of this message is to reach
out to those members around the country and internationally, who wonder if
Pine Creek is still around anymore. Indeed, at this point there are some serious issues.

There is a group of members that have come together with a focus on the
future of Pine Creek, and we are reaching out to those who helped build and
support Pine Creek in years past. We would like to ask that you please
make contact with Chris Lynch at djchrislynch@gmail.com

Many thanks,
J.R. May

I was never a member at Pine Creek but I was active there while I was stationed at Fort Monmouth in the fall of 1968. I would ride a bike down on Saturday morning, work all day then spend the night in the shop and work Sunday. Someone would give me a ride back to post late in the day. Mainly I worked on track and fired the Shay.
