High Plains Railroad Preservation in Cheyenne has been chosen to become home to two items from the Boulder valley Railroad society, we have been offered Colorado and Southern Pullman car 543 from 1906 and Union Pacific Caboose 3605 from 1923. In order to achieve this we need to raise $3500 to move 3605 and $11,000 to move 543, we have started Rocket Hub fundraisers for both should anyone wish to donate, we are a 501c3 non profit.
Car 543 operated in and out of Cheyenne and would be placed on track just feet from her operating area and Car 57 (C&S 513) which we own will be placed there with her when trucks are found and restoration is completed.

So cool to see you get these cars, Mike. You've made me a big fan of "CA-" cabooses.

Mike --

I just wrote out a donation check and I am sending it direct to the Association's P O Box.

I wish you well with the projects.

P.S. this will "kick" the post back to the first page

Thanks so much Brian, we have a really appropriate site ready for the car too, and big enough to display 543 and 57 (513) together eventually literally on track they would have used in the city center.

Regards
Mike
