| Post subject: | Status of the RYPN "articles" section? |
A few months ago it was mentioned in a discussion that an effort was being organized to revive the RYPN "articles" section and make it functional again. The most recent article posted there was in 2008. Other discussions in the past had indicated that the section was not accessible and that there were no plans to repair the broken photo links and other problems. Does anyone have an accurate and up to date report on the status of the "articles" section and whether anything is actually being undertaken to repair it? PC |

If the articles are not revived, then please replace that info on the Virginia Creeper with something. Anything. If photos submitted by us as contributors can be integrated somehow in this program, I think it would add a new dynamic to this webpage forum. Seeing the same cover for over a decade only indicates how behind the times this page has become. It hides the information inside from the casual reader. |

If you're looking for articles on railway preservation, please take a look at TRRM Online, the online version of Tourist Railroads & Railway Museums, published by ATRRM. It's open to everyone, no user ID's or passwords required. Go to www.atrrm.org/blog. Aaron Isaacs, editor TRRM Online |

I should add that TRRM Online is continuously updated. I try to post material that doesn't make the mainstream railfan press. If any RyPN readers are interested in contributing news or features, it will be much appreciated. Aaron Isaacs, editor TRRM Online editor@atrrm.org |
