| Post subject: | Two Red Arrow Louies scrapped |
Red Arrow cars 15 and 17 were reportedly cut up for scrap by last owner Brookville Equipment Corp. on Saturday 7/25. Fortunately BECo cooperated with several museums in salvaging many of the propulsion and brake system parts for donation to the museums. The trucks had previously been donated. BECo had been holding the bodies for possible conversion to double end PCC cars. |
