4-wheel Passenger Trucks & parts needed

Anybody parting out / scrapping a passenger car ,
or have an unused pair of 4-wheel passenger car trucks laying around ??

Reading RR Heritage Museum has a car in need .

Reading GRILL CAR #2060 once ran on "The Schuylkill" between Pottsville and Philly.
Around 1970 it was sold and moved by hiway to become "Felty's Diner" near Hegins, PA.
It sat on a foundation, with trucks & couplers and some other stuff underneath long gone. The interior was kept relatively intact as it had been during service on the RDG.

The car was donated to RCT&HS and moved to the museum by truck several years ago.
We would like to get it up off its current wood blocking and back on the rails.

Trucks do not need to be good for service, as RRHM does not currently operate.
This is just to make the car more "complete" again.

For comparison, the ex-RDG 2000-series cars at Danbury are the same type car.

There are a lot of variations in passenger car trucks. Can you provide more specific info regarding the exact type of trucks that you need, if there are any of them available? The type of center plate is also critical. Is there the male or female portion on the car body bolster? A picture of this type of car in service would go a long way to identifying what you need.

This is one of the ex-Reading sister cars to 2060 now at Danbury .
I think I have a photo of the center-bowl under the 2060 as it exists today.
I'll dig for that, or get a new photo in a day or so.

It look like fairly conventional inside swing hanger single equalizer tread brake trucks. Any idea if these were 6 x 11, 5 1/2 x 10, or 6 1/2 x 12?

Wonder if any of the parts from the GN lightweight cars at end end of that other thread would be usable for this purpose?

GSC corp. all coil spring 6 X 11 clasp brake with Miner L4 locking center pins truck.

OK, here is a summary of exactly what is needed, if possible:

GSC 41-N

Inside Swing Hanger

8'6" wheelbase

Clasp brakes

6 x 11

Miner L-4 locking center pins

Hopefully, reasonably close by

The trucks under those Reading cars appear to be 9" narrow pedestal 5.5x10 trucks - similar to the B&O "Royal Blue" cars.

Long Island ISH 5.5x10 would be the closest type/style. No reason to waste a 6x11 set under too light a car.

Reminds me of the trucks under the NS exhibit car. Some of the pre-war heavyweights had an 11" +/- pedestal opening for 6x11 journals and based on the picture that may well be what's going on with these Reading cars. I bet there is a retrofit that would work. Some info on the center plate would help, as well as knowing the weight of the car.

And doing a little gentle nit picking, if they're 6x11 then it should be 41-N-11 not 41-N.
