Some rare mileage over a very historic route will be available on Sunday, September 8, 2002, at Minersville, PA.

Project 113 (CNJ 0-6-0) is sponsoring three "mini-trip" train rides that will travel a portion of the Tremont Extension of the Mine Hill & Schuylkill Haven Railroad, originally built in the 1850's.

The trip sponsor is promoting the history of the route including ghost-town locations and coal-mining and RR history. Trips originate at restored ex-Reading RR. Minersville Station at 12:30, 2:30, 4:30. Tickets available day of trip.

Train operated by Reading & Northern, using ex-DL&W open-window coaches, diesel powered.
