Post subject:  Air ringer for bell ?

I have a front-mount bell from a Reading pacific, on the original bracket.

In service, it had an air-ringer: the kind with the piston to swing the bell, not just the air-powered clapper.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for this long-gone air-ringer ?

Check with Bernie Wattts at Backshop Enterprises.

303-424-6882, cell:303-478-0774

He manufactures new Viloco bell ringers and has sold many to tourist railroads over the last several years.

This thread kind of reminds me of the old story about the efforts of Notre Dame to replace Quasimodo and the people they auditioned with their unfortunate demises.
