Post subject:  Track Wolf

Wonder if an example of a 'Track Wolf' was ever preserved? That's the hook-like apparatus towed at the end of a train to rip up ties as the German Army retreated during WW II.<br>The Sept. 1999 issue of THE RAILWAY MAGAZINE (British) has a photo of it in an article entitled "Steel Rails to Victory."<br>

Ought to be just the thing (less the TNT demo charges) for the rails-to-trails weenies. The Wolf will make SURE that no trains ever run agin'.<br>
