I am looking to reproduce the headlight shroud/number boards for the WM 75 at SMRS. Does anyone have one that can send me detail pictures and rough dimensions? Were they castings or fabricated sheet metal? Original GE prints would be awesome. They were used by several railroads. |

I think that the x-Valley RR 0800 has what you are looking for. It is now at the Connecticut Eastern Chapter, NHRS facilities in Willimantic CT. Some contributors do frequent this forum. Cheers. |

Ouch! That's an oldie. VRR 409 was repatriated to Mid-Continent & was restored as C&NW 7409. I think it left the VRR in 1988 +-. SoThe last time 0800 felt so good was when it hauled up 6 loaded ballast hoppers from Saybrook. The exhaust manifolds were glowing. |
