Something that showed up on my Facebook page--a builder's photo of an 0-6-0 used on a transfer railroad in Wheeling, W.Va. For the record, the National Tube Company soon came under control of United States Steel where it was operated for years as the National Tube Division of USS. My guess is that 0-6-0 #21 might have ended up being lettered for U.S. Steel. Les |
