Does anyone have manuals or other technical documentation for 35-ton Whiting (or Joyce) high-lift car shelf jacks?

Contact Whiting. They keep track of most of their equipment and manuals as well.

Paul D. is correct.
When we purchased our (used) Whitings, we sent them the model and serial numbers and they sent us drawings, parts list, maintenance & repair procedures, etc.
There is a photo of them lifting No.3025 on "The Enginehouse Blog" at www.essexsteamtrain.com.
