Post subject:  A "True" heritage unit!

Still in service on a class one railroad, recently returned to its "As delivered" paint.
Kudos to NS for doing this!

Great shots.
There's also a SRR painted unit out there as well, but I can't recall the model or road number right now.
Man, any train buff simply has to love NS for their devotion to the past.
That said, can CSX be far behind?

The Southern Unit is the first SD40-2 built for Southern, number 3170.
