Can anyone tell me if there are any commercial video tapes/films showing the 150th anniversary operations of the ex-Camden and Amboy locomotive "John Bull" when it was operated on the Georgetown Branch in Washington, DC back in September, 1981? If there aren't any commercial tapes, does anyone have their own tapes that they would be willing to let me copy? I was there for the operation and was able to get a ride in the 1836 coach but didn't take any motion pictures that day. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.
BTC7407@aol.com |

I think the John Bull was shown as part of the National Geographic special "Love Those Trains" which is availible on videotape. I seem to recall they had a segment on the show of film taken on the Georgetown Branch of the John Bull running for its 150th birthday. Does anybody remember if I'm right?
JMFouchard@aol.com |

Found out that the John Bull is indeed on the National Geographic video "Love Those Trains" and its 150th anniversary run on the Georgetown Branch is on the tape.
JMFouchard@aol.com |
